Dixie Carter Thanks Kurt Angle
Later tonight, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle will wrestle his final match. He’ll step into the ring against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Former TNA president Dixie Carter took to Instagram to thank Angle for an amazing professional wrestling career.
Here’s what she had to say:
On this day when Kurt Angle officially retires from wrestling, I want to say THANK YOU. Thank you so much for what you have meant to wrestling. Thank you for what you have meant to @impactwrestling. Thank you for what you have meant to me. I will never forget being on the phone with you, standing among the fans inside the #ImpactZone, as we announced your signing to deafening cheers. You helped #IMPACT become a serious global entity. You always put company first. You always thought about how to “make” everyone else, and boy did you….all of our locker room (which is now a big chunk of @WWE locker room now). You are a superstar, and you made all those you fought look like a (star) too. I’m excited for your next chapter, and for your precious family, who has sacrificed so much, to have more of you. You will always have a special place in my heart. Our memories are too many, or too private, to share. I will ALWAYS be #TeamAngle.
