Kofi Kingston Reacts To WrestleMania 35 Ad Spoiling Match Against Daniel Bryan

Earlier today it was discovered that some advertisements on social media from WWE have spoiled Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35. The match has not been made official on WWE TV storyline-wise, but is expected to happen nonetheless.

Kingston recently commented on the advertisement spoiler on Twitter. He stayed in kayfabe, saying this is likely the work of Vince McMahon, who is continuing to play mind games with himself and The New Day:

Last week the gauntlet match was also advertised to kick off the show. It did not. Vince has been messing with us for a while now. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was just more of the same.

Kingston has been screwed out of numerous WrestleMania opportunities by McMahon. Last week, the New Day member successfully completed the initial Gauntlet of Sheamus, Cesaro, Samoa Joe, Randy Orton, and Rowan. However, McMahon introduced Bryan as a surprise late-notice opponent, and Kingston was unable to overcome the odds.

Perhaps Kingston will finally punch his ticket to New Jersey on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live?
