Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW just got a lot more interesting. WWE announced on Twitter that Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle will be taking on SmackDown Live‘s United States Champion Samoa Joe. The bout is part of Angle’s farewell tour as he prepares to retire at WrestleMania 35 next month:

Angle has wrestled the likes of Chad Gable, Apollo Crews, and more in recent weeks for his farewell tour. He’ll make the trip to SmackDown Live tomorrow night to face off against former WWE Champion AJ Styles. As of this writing, Angle is scheduled to retire when he faces Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.
However, due to the backlash the match-up has received, it’s possible WWE decides to change Angle’s opponent for “The Show Of Shows.” WrestleMania 35 goes down from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
