Tony Schiavone Encounters CM Punk
From Kenny Omega to Jim Cornette, the wrestling stars were certainly out for C2E2 in Chicago over the weekend. The wide array of talent from different generations created some opportunity for some unique photo ops and one of those happened to be Tony Schiavone crossing paths with CM Punk. Tony was in town for his What Happened When / 83 Weeks mash-up show with Conrad Thompson while Punk and the Windy City obviously go x-marked hand-in-hand. Schiavone shared the following on Twitter after what had to be a very interesting weekend:
Thanks to everyone I got to meet this past weekend at @c2e2. All the fans were tremendous. It won’t be my last Comic Con. And you never know who you will see @CMPunk pic.twitter.com/oi04SSGJk9

Matt Hardy Encounters An Old Foe
The following brush-up might not have occurred at C2E2, but the palpable tension made it a showdown to sink your teeth into. Matt Hardy ran into one of his old rivals in Ronald McDonald and was sure to keep a safe distance as Ronnie wasn’t about to blink about what had to be an unexpected face-off for the Americana icon:
I’m sorry, Ronald.. I’ve had to put some distance between us.
