Chad Gable Pens Heartfelt Tribute To Kurt Angle
In a heartfelt post on Instagram today, Chad Gable wrote about what last night’s match with Kurt Angle meant to him, with a picture of a signed VHS copy of Angle’s “It’s True, It’s True” home video release accompanying his words.
Gable writes:
“What’s that saying about heroes becoming rivals?
@therealkurtangle signed this for me at Mall of America in 2000. Wished me luck after I told him I was going to make the Greco-Roman Olympic Team and then wrestle in WWE.
20 years later, here we are…
Life is great, but sometimes, it can be really special. I’m grateful for last night. Thank you Kurt.”
