In a satellite interview on Monday Night RAW, Batista had some harsh words for his WrestleMania opponent, Triple H. Batista said he blames Triple H for his departure form the company in 2010. “Why wouldn’t I? Quit saying I quit,” said Batista. ” Imagine you have this guy that’s supposed to be your buddy but he’s also your boss. He’s trying to hold you down and jealous of me. I’m trying to achieve things and [he] won’t give me my fair opportunity,” said Batista.
The Animal reiterated that he left because of Triple H. “He didn’t give me my fair opportunity,” said Batista. “He didn’t think I was a big enough star but look at what I accomplished since I left the company. Worldwide fame.”

The Animal also criticized Triple H’s personality and said he hopes Vince McMahon fires him. “He’s got you all fooled … This man is the most insecure, jealous control freak that I’ve met,” said Batista. “That’s who the true Triple H is. I’m going to do two things before I wrap this up. One day, hopefully soon, Vince is gonna wake up and fire his ass. At WrestleMania, I’m going to end his in-ring career.”
