The Wells Fargo Center confirmed earlier today that Extreme Rules 2019 will be taking place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event will go down on July 14th and will be held in Philly for the very first time. Extreme Rules has been held in April, May, June and July since its inception in 2009 but with this being the second year in a row that it has been held in July, they may have settled on a more permanent timeframe.
CBS Philadelphia have also promoted the following two matches for the event.
- Roman Reign vs Baron Corbin
- Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre
