ROH 17th Anniversary PPV Results
Shinobi Shadow Squad vs Silas Young and the Briscoes
The Briscoes work over Isom before each member of the Shinobi Shadow Squad lands some offense on Mark. Young grounds Cheeseburger with a backbreaker and Mark targets his back with a Camel Clutch. Isom nearly pins Jay after Nova clears house with a suicide dive. Mark hits a diving elbow drop but Isom kicks out. Jay pins Isom with the Jay Driller.
Winners: Silas Young and the Briscoes
Rhett Titus cuts a promo, saying he’s leading the Flex Express and he plans to win the NWA National Championship.
The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas) vs Brian Johnson and Joe Keys
Keys flexes and Bruiser responds by leading a “beer” chant. Bruiser slaps and chops Keys around the ring. Johnson takes the fight to Bruiser and double-teams him with Keys. Milonas gets the hot tag and levels both Johnson and Keys. Bruiser sends Keys into a spine buster from Milonas. The Bouncers hit a bear hug and leg drop combination on Johnson for the win.
Winners: The Bouncers
The Bouncers drink together after the match.
In a backstage segment, Madison Rayne calls out Thunder Rosa and says she’s going to make an example out of her.
NWA Champion Willie Mack responds to Titus’ comments and hypes up the match between the two next week.
Madison Rayne (with Sumie Sakai) vs Thunder Rosa (with Hollidead)
Rayne immediately takes the fight to Rosa. Rayne and Rosa fight around the ring. Rosa kicks Rayne in the back several times and lands a leg drop for a near fall. Rosa has all the momentum but Rayne takes her down with a spear. Rayne hits a crossbody and an enziguri but Rosa gets a near fall on a gory special. Rayne counters a slam into an inverted DDT for the win.
Winner: Madison Rayne
In a backstage segment, Coast to Coast hype up their tag team match next week against ROH World Champion Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham.
