After initially losing his WWE Championship match at WWE Fastlane, Kofi Kingston found himself back in the spotlight thanks to Vince McMahon. Or so it seemed. After petitioning the chairman for another chance, McMahon caved, giving Kofi-Mania a chance.

But, when Kofi made his way to the ring, he learned McMahon decided to hold April Fool’s Day a little early this year. Rather than facing Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship, Kingston found himself in a handicap match against the Bar. In the match, both Cesaro and Sheamus would be legal the whole time.
Kofi put up an impressive fight but he was ultimately overwhelmed by the numbers game despite the attempted efforts of his New Day stablemates Big E and Xavier Woods, who tried to even the odds.
