Smackdown Women’s Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs Mandy Rose w/Sonya Deville
Asuka kicks Mandy in the back. Mandy pulls Asuka by her hair to lock in a headlock. Asuka turns it into a kneebar. Mandy gets to the ropes. After a distraction by Deville Mandy drops Asuka with a leaping knee strike. Asuka kicks out. Mandy whips Asuka into the corner but Asuka hops up to the second rope and hits a missile dropkick. Mandy almost lands her finisher but Asuka reverses it into a pop-up knee. Deville pulls a kendo stick from under the ring. the ring skirt ends up in the ring. Mandy slips on it and walks right into a head kick by Asuka. It’s over.
Winner and STILL Smackdown Women’s Champion, Asuka!
After the match, Deville tries to explain herself. Mandy walks away.
Backstage, Kingston is still waiting for the McMahons to tell him what his role will be tonight. Woods and Big E. barge into Mr. McMahon office and make an impassioned plea to make the title match a triple threat match. Mr. McMahon bars Woods and Big E. from ringside and tells Kingston to get out there because the match starts right now.
Kingston gets in the ring and is told that the WWE title match will actually be happening later tonight. Kingston is going to face the Bar in a handicap match.
Kofi Kingston vs The Bar
The Bar attack Kingston. Kington tries to fight back but Cesaro puts him in a single leg crab. Sheamus grabs Kingston’s other leg and joins in. Kingston sends Sheamus into the post. Kingston goes up top and dives right into an uppercut by Cesaro. Doomsday Device by the Bar. Cesaro holds Kingston as Sheamus lands a Brogue kick. Cesaro pins Kingston but Cesaro pulls Kingston’s head off the mat to break the pin. Woods and Big E. run down to ringside but Rusev and Nakamura attack them from behind.
