Another clip from Enzo Amore’s shoot video with the Title Match Network has been released. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion is a big fan of what Cody Rhodes is doing with All Elite Wrestling and has nothing but love for the Rhodes family.
“I get chills when I think about it,” said Amore. “What he’s doing right now with AEW is the coolest s— I’ve ever seen. It’s Dusty Rhodes’ son going heads up with Vince McMahon. Dusty, he gets made a mockery of by McMahon. Puts him in yellow with polka dots. At a time when equal rights and racism were running rampant, he put him with a black woman. He went, “Now go get over,” because he used to book against [Vince]. Look at Virgil. Vince got a black guy and named him Virgil [after Dusty Rhodes]. Then he goes to WCW and is named Vincent. They had [a history of competition]. So, to see Cody reignite that flame is the coolest thing because it’s his son.”
Enzo also had high praise for another member of the Rhodes family, Goldust. “He’s the nicest guy ever,” said Amore. “To still be in the business and want to give back to the younger guys. He does it the right way and it’s never been about him. Those guys love to give back to the business and that to me is that Rhodes legacy.”
