CM Punk Files For Dismissal Of Colt Cabana’s Lawsuit Against Him

PW Insider brought an update on the Colt Cabana v. CM Punk lawsuit alleging that Phil Brooks owes Cabana money for his lawyer fees in their case against WWE physician Chris Amann. The latest is that Punk has filed a follow-up in an attempt to dismiss Cabana’s amended lawsuit on Feb. 14.

Punk’s legal team said that Cabana failed to address the “terminal deficiencies” in his amended lawsuit and that his response didn’t have any argument to it. It reads, “It is Plaintiff’s prerogative to submit a threadbare response to Defendant’s Motion to Dismiss, but in doing so, Plaintiff only underscores the fatal insufficiency of his claims for breach of contract and fraud.”

Judge Daniel Kubasiask will decide whether the case is dismissed or not on March 15.
