Ric Flair’s Surprise 70th Birthday Party (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

ESPN writer Arash Markazi was in attendance for a special surprise 70th Birthday party for 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and captured some heartwarming footage in the process. Markazi was joined by notables such as; Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Triple H, Shane McMahon, Charles Barkley, Todd Gurley, Evander Holyfield, Dennis Rodman, Chris Jericho, The Nasty Boys, and Brad Nessler.

Markazi shot the following footage showing an emotional Ric Flair (alongside Wendy Barlow) entering the surprise party to a familiar musical theme :

Upon entering the party, a teary eyed Flair was embraced by Michael ‘P.S’ Hayes, Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat, Triple H, Ata Johnson, and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley among others.

Markazi notes, “I thought Ric was going to die two years ago when he was in intensive care in Atlanta. We’re celebrating his 70th birthday tonight in Atlanta.”

Flair’s 70th Birthday will also be celebrated (along with the long anticipated return of Roman Reigns) at next week’s RAW. Although Flair doesn’t technically turn 70 until Monday, on behalf of the entire team here at WrestleZone, I would like to wish The Nature Boy a very Happy Birthday.
