Show is available on NJPWWorld.com.

FIRST MATCH: Toa Henare vs. Yota Tsuji

Solid showcase for Henare. Tsuji was adamant about getting in some serious offense. Solid opening Young Lion match, which says a lot considering one of them ISN’T a Young Lion anymore.

Need To Watch Rating: (4.4)

SECOND MATCH: Manabu Nakanishi & Tiger Mask vs. Ayato Yoshida & Shota Umino

Another good, but inessential match. Shades of Yoshida and Umino’s run in World Tag League.

Need To Watch Rating: (2.1)

THIRD MATCH: Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Ren Narita vs. Suzuki-gun (Takashi Iizuka & TAKA Michinoku)

Iizuka’s farewell tour is a frustrating mix of shenanigans and story. Tenzan’s pleas to Iizuka’s humanity are heartbreaking but the matches stink.

Need To Watch Rating: (1.9)

FOURTH MATCH: Togi Makabe, Toru Yano, Ryusuke Taguchi & Tomoaki Honma vs. Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Taiji Ishimori & Yujiro Takahashi)

Fun tag match to wake up the crowd. Tama Tonga’s “good guy” schtick is really starting to become a highlight of the undercard, as is Taguchi’s rivalry with Ishimori.

Need To Watch Rating: (5.1)

FIFTH MATCH: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI vs. Bullet Club (Jay White, Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens)

This was ALL about Yoshi-Hashi. The man has comeback from injury determined to not be forgotten. White continues to grow by leaps and bounds every match. Bad Luck Fale showed up to kickass as well.

Need To Watch Rating: (7.9)

SIXTH MATCH: IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: Los Ingobernables de Japon (Shingo Takagi & BUSHI) (c) vs. Suzuki-gun (El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

An inventive take on what is becoming an old recipe. Takagi continues to wrestle like a heavyweight. BUSHI and Kanemaru keep coming up with more and more inventive mist spots. Lots of fun stuff here.

Need To Watch Rating: (9.0)

SEVENTH MATCH: IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL & SANADA) (c) vs. Suzuki-gun (Zack Sabre Jr. & Minoru Suzuki)

A gripping, barebones tag match. Suzuki and Sabre wrestle like Sharks, swarming and dissecting their helpless opponents. EVIL & SANADA are marvelous faces in peril. Definitely worth checking out.

Need To Watch Rating: (9.5)

MAIN EVENT: IWGP Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship Match: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Taichi

This is a bloated main event. Plenty of great stuff, but overall the match is hurt by just how much is dedicated to heavy-handed angles. Buried under all of that is a match that makes Taichi look like a dominant heel, but you have to really dig.

Need To Watch Rating: (8.8)
