Recent WWE Signee Opens Up On Mental Health (Photo)

Current WWE NXT signee Chelsea Green went to social media today to confess her battle with mental health using the #BellLetsTalk hashtag. In the post, she would discuss a time where she was in a depressive state and relied on self-harm.

Here’s the post below:

“I was 21 years old when I fell into a dark place. I used to sit on the bathroom floor every single night, in tears, with a razor blade in my hand. I took out my anger and hurt on my body, not because I wanted someone to notice me. I wanted help. I would wake up in the morning, feeling embarrassed. I had a great job, I had an amazing group of friends, my boyfriend at the time was in the NHL,  my family supported my financially, yet I was unhappy.

I’ve never been open about my struggles. But each year 1 in 5 females and 1 in 7 males engage in self-harm. There is no look, no shape, size, color, age or gender in mental health issues. Join the conversation. Help end the stigma surrounding mental health. I promise, it gets better.”
