The show is available on NJPWWorld.com

FIRST MATCH: Ren Narita vs. Yuya Uemura

A shockingly good match. Both Young Lions showed a far more diverse moveset than their peers. Yuya Uemura at one point channels Gary Albright with a suplex. Definitely a good way to kick off the night.

Need To Watch Rating: (6.0)

SECOND MATCH: Manabu Nakanishi & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Ayato Yoshida & Shota Umino

This felt like World Tag League, but better. Umino & Yoshida have grown as a tag team and are starting to show some real fire. Solid though inessential stuff.

Need To Watch Rating: (3.6)

THIRD MATCH: Toa Henare & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Bullet Club (Yujiro Takahashi & Taiji Ishimori)

It’s always fun to watch Ryusuke Taguchi play mind games with a rival, and he has a pretty spectacular one in Ishimori. Henare continues to grow. Yujiro is also there.

Need To Watch Rating: (3.5)

FOURTH MATCH: Togi Makabe, Toru Yano & Tomoaki Honma vs. Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Chase Owens)

Solid tag match, mainly focused on Tama Tonga, and how his new Good Guy persona is hurting Bullet Club. Nothing essential, but definitely a fun watch.

Need To Watch Rating: (3.0)

FIFTH MATCH: CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Bullet Club (Jay White & Bad Luck Fale)

White and Okada have thrilling chemistry. Switchblade is starting to really come into his own. YOSHI-HASHI is back, and that’s at least refreshing. Fale is putting forth way more effort than usual, as he’s really starting to get some momentum against Okada.

Need To Watch Rating: (6.7)

SIXTH MATCH: Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., Taichi, El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, SANADA, BUSHI & Shingo Takagi)

LIJ vs. Suzuki-gun is always good. LIJ vs. Suzuki-gun is never bad.

Need To Watch Rating: (7.5)

MAIN EVENT: KUSHIDA Farewell Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. KUSHIDA

This match hurt my heart. It is a simple, sublime piece of storytelling, with KUSHIDA trying to prove himself against The Ace. I dare you not to cry during this match. I dare you.

Need To Watch Rating: (10.9)
