John Cena has landed another movie role. This time, according to an exclusive from Hollywood Reporter, Cena will star in a Netflix action comedy that is being directed by Jason Bateman. Also working on the film is Mark Perez who was the writer of the 2018 comedy Game Night, which Bateman starred in. As reported by WWE earlier, John Cena has an “injury” and will not be at this weekend’s Royal Rumble event. Dave Metlzer of The Wrestling Observer reported that the injury was WWE’s way of getting Cena off of Royal Rumble to begin shooting for a new film.
