In the last few days, there has been an influx of rumors of talent reportedly asking for their release from WWE. A new report from PWInsider pieces together all of the latest confirmed information:

In regards to Dolph Ziggler,  Ziggler has not been seen since losing to Drew McIntyre on New Year’s Eve. Currently, it’s being said that Ziggler turned down an offer to become a producer and is now possibly wrapping up his tenure with the company. He has not been on the road for WWE in recent weeks after completing the Holiday Tour, and sources within WWE are still claiming that he is under contract, with January 31st as a possible final day under contract. To the contrary, others have said he’s not leaving at all.

It’s worth noting that Dolph Ziggler has changed his name on Twitter to Nic Nemeth, and is currently planning a comedy tour. Ziggler also has a new t-shirt out on Pro Wrestling Tees featuring himself and his brother as the Motley Crue-inspired ‘Nemeth Bros’:

Regarding The Revival, on top of the Fightful report from yesterday, the report states that The Revival had spoken with WWE management about being unhappy in the company and did indeed ask to be released. The belief is that WWE will not be letting them out of their contract anytime soon because there is wide speculation that they would be going to All Elite Wrestling for a match with the Young Bucks. However, they could potentially sit out their contracts as Neville did.

The report also confirms that WWE officials have started approaching talents whose deals are coming up soon. Specifically naming Kevin Owens and The Miz as talents who recently signed long-term deals, adding that WWE is trying to lock up talents to new five-year contracts.
