SmackDown Live once again featured some NXT call-ups. Both EC3 and Heavy Machinery were able to shine in matches that happened before the televised portion of the card that is taking place in Birmingham, Alabama.

EC3 wound up defeating Aiden English in his match. That keeps EC3 undefeated since reemerging on the main roster. Meanwhile, Heavy Machinery defeated The Colons, who are still under WWE employment despite being rarely used.
Neither of their brands are set currently, as all of the NXT call-ups are currently popping up on both television programs for WWE.
