Lucha Central has created an End of the Year awards for Lucha Libre. 2018 was a great year for Lucha Libre This is great for fans as it includes awards for both American and Mexican categories. Nominations end on January 11th.
Top nominees will be placed on the official ballot to be released in mid-January and winners will be presented with plaques in February.

While many of the categories are self explanatory, here are details on a few of the categories:
For “Lucha Libre Promotion of the Year” please nominate only non-U.S. based full-time lucha libre promotions (i.e. AAA, CMLL, IWRG, The Crash).
For “U.S. Independent Lucha Libre Promotion of the Year” please nominate only U.S. based full-time lucha libre promotions (i.e. FMLL, Martinez Entertainment, MLA, Pro Wrestling Revolution).
For “Non-Lucha Libre Promotion Using Luchadores The Best” please nominate the company you think is integrated luchadores best in 2018 (i.e. AAW, AIW, Impact Wrestling, MLW, PCW Ultra, PWG).
For “Best Weekly Broadcast TV or Internet Series” please nominate the program you liked watching best week to week. (i.e. AAA Worldwide TV, CMLL Viernes Espectacular, Lucha Underground).We will compile the results and present the top nominees on the ballot for the winners. The ballot will be posted in mid-January.
