AJ Styles had to earn a title shot, and he did just that on tonight’s SmackDown Live. The veteran wrestler wound up winning a fatal five-way that also featured Mustafa Ali, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Samoa Joe.

Things weren’t always looking great for Styles, as he went through the announcer’s table after a brutal slam by Samoa Joe. However, he was able to get back into the match and pinned Randy Orton to earn his rematch against WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.

AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan will take place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event later this month. The two most recently had an excellent match at TLC in December.
