Lee first joined IMPACT as part of the Global Force Wrestling invasion with Brian Myers (aka WWE’s Curt Hawkins) in August 2015. He is a former three-time X Division Champion and a one-time TNA Tag Team Champions with Myers. Lee’s departure comes after Wrestlezone first reported DJZ was also leaving the company yesterday.

PWInsider.com first reported Lee finished up with the company at last month’s TV tapings in Las Vegas; according to that report he gave notice to IMPACT and worked his final match against Killer Kross. It was also noted at the time of the original report by several sources that WWE showed interest in Lee. Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso later confirmed Lee would enter the free agent pool in January in an interview with Lee.
