According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is interested in signing Ring of Honor wrestler Dalton Castle. Castle was reportedly offered a WWE deal in 2017 after his ROH contract expired, but ultimately chose to stay with Ring of Honor, his home since 2013. Castle has had a great deal of success with ROH and is a former ROH World Champion, as well as a former World Six Man Tag Team Champion. While the former amateur wrestler is a superb in-ring performer, he is also well known for the portrayal of his flamboyant character, which arguably increases his television value exponentially and in turn his appeal to WWE.
Castle will square off against Matt Taven during tonight’s Ring of Honor Final Battle pay-per-view.
