John Cena is one of, if not the, most charitable WWE Superstars of all time. John Cena is promoting his new Bumblebee movie and in celebration of that, and in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, John will be lighting up the Empire State Building on December 20th. The following is from WWE.com:
John Cena will be brightening up the New York City skyline with some holiday cheer this month.
The 16-time World Champion will join his “Bumblebee” co-star Hailee Steinfeld and the Make-A-Wish Foundation for a special event on Dec. 20. On that night, the Empire State Building will be lit yellow to celebrate the commitment of brightening the lives of children. The ceremony takes place one day shy of the film’s release.
Taking to Twitter to celebrate the news, Cena called it a “wonderful opportunity.”
A wonderful opportunity to bring the magic of @bumblebeemovie and the spirit of the holiday season with @MakeAWish. Excited to light up the NYC sky with the help of these young men and women! @EmpireStateBldg https://t.co/CVUfik3ssy
