This past Sunday at Survivor Series RAW was able to clean sweep SmackDown in six straight matches on the main pay-per-view. Smackdown did pick up the victory on the kickoff show but that’s largely gone unnoticed by WWE. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Vince McMahon wanted Survivor Series to be a clean sweep situation on behalf of RAW, but something was lost in translation when it came to the pre-show, so when Smackdown won that match, it was decided that in order to progress the story of the evening that it would be better to just acknowledge only the main card.
