WWE RAW Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey, successfully defended her title against Mickie James 24 hours after her physical confrontation with Charlotte Flair at Survivor Series.
Rousey walked to the ring with bruises and welts to her midsection, determined to fight despite the vicious assault last night. She beleived that as champion, she will continue to compete no matter the circumstances and called for an open challenge. Acting general manager Baron Corbin tried to keep her from wrestling, but Rousey demanded a challenger and even provoked Corbin. This led to Corbin selecting Mickie James to face her, in which she was quickly dispatched by the champ.
