RAW And SmackDown Shakeups Spice Up Short WWE Survivor Series Build

On RAW, things are a little more murky other than the clear women’s division leader in Rousey.

The back and forth with Braun Strowman has made it very difficult for him to be seen as a real threat to Brock Lesnar. It appears they may be building toward The Monster vs. The Beast at WrestleMania, but will the audience really get back behind Strowman after all the flipping back and forth.

Roman Reigns out as the top dog has made everything a mess. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose is going to be great, but should have had a much slower build. Dolph Ziggler is in no man’s land as they start to push Drew McIntyre into main event material. Elias, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley all gain a little momentum one week just to give it back the next.

And all of this is with immense talent from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens sitting on the sidelines.

Two months of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and The Mayor of Knox County dominating air time and then the gut punch of Reigns’s Leukemia has just left it unclear who is supposed to be the guy on this show and has left much of the midcard pushed even further down.

The tag team division has a solid champion in Authors of Pain, but there is no real second or third tier competitors, unlike the Smackdown division which goes at least four or five deep with really strong teams. There could be a solid move with The Revival if they ever want to make it, but there has been a regular rise up, plummet down for Wilder and Dawson that is perplexing.

For RAW, it seems that the Superstar Shakeup cannot possibly get here fast enough.
