205 Live Results: Cedric Alexander Takes On Lio Rush (11/14/18)

Tonight’s episode of 205 Live featured three exciting cruiserweight matches. The show kicked off with a tag team affair between Akira Tozawa and Brian Kendrick and the team of Jack Gallagher and Drew Gulak. Ultimately, Gallgher and Gulak got the upper hand and came out victorious.

It was followed up by a promo from current WWE Crusierweight Champion Buddy Murphy talking about his future challenger, Mustafa Ali. He stated that he almost feels sorry for him, but “this is about my Cruiserweight Championship and what happens to people that try and take this away from me.”

The next match was another tag team contest. Two members of the Lucha House Party were at it as Kalisto and Lince Dorado teamed up to take on two enhancement talents. As one would expect, the duo won in quick fashion.

Finally, the show was closed by the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander going up against recent addition Lio Rush. It was a hard fought match with brilliant offense by both competitors, but Alexander wound up getting the win over Bobby Lashley’s manager.
