According to WWENetworkNews.com, WWE has confirmed that they will be bringing two new collections to the WWE Network in December and both are sure to raise a lot of debate for separate reasons.
The first is a collection chronicling WWE 2018 Match Of The Year candidates, which are always guaranteed to be debatable because media is, of course, subjective. I personally hope that they have the match between Johnny Gargano and Andrade Cien Almas from TakeOver Philadelphia, and the Finn Balor/Seth Rollins match from the RAW before WrestleMania in that collection. It would also be nice to see them keep the 2017 collection and not scrap it as they have in years past.
The second collection is a collection chronicling the story of the NWO. The NWO is most commonly known and referred to as the highlight of WCW’s reign over the WWE in the days of the Monday Night Wars. The stable featured Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan who is playing a bad guy for the first time since his monstrous babyface run in the 1980s in the WWE. This is sure to cause some debate because Hulk Hogan is now being welcomed back into the fold of WWE and over the last week, they haven’t been able to stop including him or his accolades in some form or fashion. I am personally of the belief that I don’t know how many more times they can keep bringing up the Monday Night Wars era but it always seems to attain some type of boost for them. That being said, it will be nice to have some of the key matchups and moments from them as opposed to having to scour random episodes of Nitro or Thunder.
That’s how I feel about it. How do you feel about these two collections coming in December? Sound off in the comments below.
