Really fun tag match. Chris Sabin is a wonderful addition to Taguchi Japan. Really solid opener.

SECOND MATCH: Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma) & KUSHIDA vs. BC OGs (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Robbie Eagles)
Fun six-man tag match. KUSHIDA steals the match and runs away with it. Fun but skippable.

THIRD MATCH: CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada & Beretta) vs. BC OGs (Jay White & Bad Luck Fale)
This match is utter chaos. No pun intended. While White & Okada have always had good chemistry, Beretta and Fale’s exchanges are a surprising delight. Fun match.

FOURTH MATCH: Hiroshi Tanahashi & David Finlay vs. The Golden Lovers (Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega)
All of the combinations in this match are fire. The build to Omega/Tanahashi is starting in earnest and we are in for a treat. Finlay makes a case for G1 Climax 2019.

FIFTH MATCH: Super Jr. Tag League Final Match: Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & Shingo Takagi) vs. Suzuki-gun (El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)
What seemed like a rehash of a year-long feud turned into a spectacular Jr. Tag match. Takagi already feels like he’s been working with LIJ for years. Suzuki-gun shenanigans are a minimum and the match is all the better for it. Seek. Out. This. Match.

SIXTH MATCH: NEVER Openweight Championship Match: Taichi (c) vs. Hirooki Goto
Far superior to their last contest. Goto and Taichi have fun chemistry. This match was divisive amongst a lot of people but it’s definitely not one to sleep on.

MAIN EVENT: IWGP Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Jericho (c) vs. EVIL
Jericho continues to have absolute wars in NJPW. This match rivaled the intensity of his matches with Naito & Omega. EVIL is a serious main eventer. A great match to end a night of great matches.
