Randy Orton On John Cena Being Pulled From WWE Crown Jewel: ‘Does He Still Wrestle?’

TMZ Sports caught up with Randy Orton and other WWE Superstars at the airport as they made their way to their flights to go to Saudi Arabia for WWE Crown Jewel. Of course, the line of questioning was strictly about the controversies surrounding the show. Regarding his greatest rival John Cena pulling out of the event, Randy Orton said “Does he still wrestle? I didn’t know he pulled out.” Which certainly seems to have quite the shady undertone.

John Cena and Daniel Bryan will no longer be making the journey to Saudi Arabia with John Cena simply being replaced by Bobby Lashley in the World Cup Tournament and Daniel Bryan losing his WWE championship match to AJ Styles last night on SmackDown as a way to write him off for the show. AJ will now be wrestling old rival Samoa Joe in the fourth big-time match they have wrestled this year.

Meanwhile, other superstars like The Big Show, The Miz, and Sheamus simply talked about being happy to entertain the fans around the world and they looked forward to not only going to Saudi Arabia but then going to do the same thing in the UK the week after. The Miz also earned some husband brownie points by saying he wishes he could have his wife everywhere that he went when asked if he feels that Saudi Arabia should allow women wrestlers.
