The WWE Crown Jewel main event was changed to Brock Lesnar versus Braun Strowman for the vacated WWE Universal Championship after Roman Reigns had to relinquish the title, but that might not be the match we get on Friday. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there has been talk internally within WWE that Drew McIntyre could be added to the match. That would then make the title a triple threat, like it originally was with Roman Reigns.
That would certainly make sense from a storyline perspective as RAW featured the ongoing feud of McIntyre and Strowman, and it impacted the main event tag title match that saw Dean Ambrose viciously attack his Shield partner Seth Rollins after winning the belts.
