Macho Man Randy Savage Gets Fictional Airport Named After Him On ‘The Good Place’, Pawn Stars Selling Autographed ‘Mega Powers’ Ring Gear

Macho Man Randy Savage Referenced On NBC’s ‘The Good Place’

Macho Man Randy Savage was name dropped on the NBC series ‘The Good Place’ last night, where his name was displayed as the name of an airport on the show.

The “Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage Non-International Airport” is used as the fictional airport in Jacksonville on the show, which stars Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. The comedy is about a woman (Bell) who wakes up in the afterlife and is introduced to a utopian world called ‘The Good Place’. She thinks she was sent there by mistake, and works to become a better person.

‘The Good Place’ airs on Thursdays at 8:00 pm on NBC. 

Pawn Stars Selling Autographed ‘Mega Powers’ Ring Gear

The Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, most famously known as the setting of ‘Pawn Stars’, is selling an authentic Macho Man ring-worn outfit from his days as one half of ‘The Mega Powers’ revival in WCW. (The outfit was seen on the March 18th, 1996 episode of WCW Monday Nitro)

According to the listing, the three piece set—hat, shirt and pants—are all signed by Savage and were gifted to the seller by Savage’s widow after his passing in 2011. The items are listed for sale at $8,500 (or best reasonable offer); check out some footage from the show below:
