Konnan is a bonafide professional wrestling legend, and he’s been keeping busy as he’s both AAA’s booker and the leader of LAX on IMPACT Wrestling. However, even the busiest people have some downtime, and the Wrestling Observer Hall of Famer has been spending his past couple days arguing with flat Earth theory believers on Twitter.
The debate was sparked by a Twitter user called “Russianvids,” who has been tagging both Konnan and Disco Inferno in tweets about how the Earth is flat (it’s not). The discussion has been happening for quite some time, but he once again got the wrestler’s attention on October 19. “I respect your tenacity,” wrote the former WCW star. “I will one last time tell [you] when I was stationed at a military air station I went up in a Grumman F-14 Tomcat and saw the [Earth’s] curvature.”
However, actually experiencing the curve of the planet wasn’t enough for Russianvids. He kept on tweeting at the veteran wrestler, and eventually convinced “K-Dogg” to give him a history lesson on October 21:
Here is my last statement 2 you on da matter..2,000yrs ago Greek Mathematician Eratosthenes, who I guess must have also been in on this multi century hoax, put 2 sticks in da ground at 500 miles apart at noon, in one city there was no shadow cast in da other there was at 7 degrees

mind this theory gained traction in the 90's when Chrisitian ministers in da midwest started taking da quote "the 4 corners of the earth" as literal.this is nothing more than video bloggers trying to generate traffic and income..exploiting the uneducated, weak-minded & desperate

Despite the former CMLL World Heavyweight Champion saying that would be his “last statement” to Russianvids, they wound up going back and forth over the next several days. However, I think it might finally be over after Konnan told the Twitter user “not to procreate.” It’s hard to overcome being owned that hard.
Told u that conversation was over and by your own logic why would I just listen to what somebody else says? #CASECLOSED

Clearly, the internet brings so much into existence.
