Drew McIntyre proceeded to continue his monster hunting, laying out Braun Strowman in a segment involving Paul Heyman.
The Dogs Of War met an untimely end last week after losing to The Shield and McIntyre hitting Strowman with a Claymore Kick. Tonight, he assured Dolph Ziggler that they wouldn’t have to worry about Strowman any longer as he sought out to eliminate ‘The Monster of Men’.

Later that night, Strowman was announced to face Brock Lesnar for the vacant Universal Championship and Paul Heyman came out to deliver an emotional promo celebrating Roman Reigns’ championship spirit. He commended him for being a fighter and a leader in and out of the ring but also acknowledged that the show must go on. Heyman taunted Strowman, saying that he is not in the league of Lesnar and will be dealt with quickly at Crown Jewel. It didn’t take long for Strowman to come out to the ring and let Heyman know that Lesnar will get these hands and he’ll be the new Universal Champion.

Distracted by the words of Heyman, Strowman got blindsided once again with a Claymore Kick from McIntyre, leaving him incapacitated.
