Chris Nowinski Heavily Criticizes NFL For Use Of Smelling Salts
Former WWE wrestler and Tough Enough competitor, Chris Nowinski took to Twitter to call out the Dallas Cowboys’ sideline staff for giving team quarterback Dak Prescott smelling salts after he was taken out of the game for concussion protocol. Nowinski earned his Ph.D. at Boston University in the field of Behavioral Neuroscience and has co-founded the Concussion Legacy Foundation. He was unable to continue a career in professional wrestling after suffering his own head trauma in 2003.
