Kevin Owens just had double knee surgery, so it’s no surprise that he’ll be out longer than expected. Just how long the former WWE Universal Champion is out for remains to be seen, but we now have a better timeline thanks to the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required). The latest Kevin Owens injury update revealed that he’ll be out for the rest of 2018 (which isn’t much of a surprise).
Dave Meltzer reported that the current timeframe for Owens’ return looks to be around late February or early March of next year. That means that Owens could possibly return at WrestleMania, although that’s certainly not a locked in deal. As with every injury, rehabilitation varies from person to person. Hopefully it goes well and we’ll see Owens back to doing what he loves sooner rather than later.
