While Austin Aries may have potentially burned a bridge with his controversial exit from IMPACT Wrestling at Bound for Glory, it looks like the company is looking to mend another. According to SEScoops, the company is currently in talks to bring Alberto El Patron back into the company. He most recently left IMPACT Wrestling when he no-showed a Lucha Underground vs. IMPACT Wrestling event during WrestleMania weekend. Before that, he was a key act and held the company’s main title.
IMPACT believes that his personal issues have subdued, and are looking to have El Patron return at their Las Vegas television tapings in November. He’s currently training for a return to mixed martial arts, and works for the mixed martial arts promotion Combate Americas as their president.
