SmackDown Live began in a chaotic way as the Women’s Championship Match between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair ended with both laid out through the LED stage.
In a rematch from WWE Super Show-Down, the stipulation had that if Lynch was disqualified she would lose the title. In a lengthy opening match, Lynch came close to being DQ’ed, only for Charlotte to get a near fall. This led to the two being on the outside and receiving a double count-out as they brawl all throughout ringside. Eventually, Charlotte would spear the SmackDown Women’s Champion through the LED lights at the stage entrance:
