New Japan Pro Wrestling presents King of Pro Wrestling on Monday. The show will be headlined by the third Three Way Match in the history of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Marty Scurll will face KUSHIDA for the vacant IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship. Also, Hiroshi Tanahashi will defend his IWGP Heavyweight Championship Challenge Certificate against Jay White.
The big story headed into King of Pro Wrestling is the news that Los Ingobernables de Japon will add a new member to their popular faction. LIJ Leader Tetsuya Naito says that the new member is someone that he’s had his eye on. Speculation has ranged from former-Dragon Gate wrestler Shingo Takagi to Roppongi 3K’s YOH.
