WWE’s Jonathan Coachman reacted to Charly Caruso appearing on ESPN earlier today, and in the process, he made an interesting revelation about his time with the company. Coachman jumped over to ESPN where he had spent a few successful years with the leader in sports media, before making his return to professional wrestling. Alas, as it turns out, they once laughed at his suggestions to mix with both WWE and the UFC – and now, just a few years later, WWE and ESPN have a very close relationship whereas the Ultimate Fighting Championship signed a major deal with them starting in January.

I am aware she just called me to say thank you. Two years after I was laughed out of offices for pitching Wwe/ufc mixing with espn now espn is doing both with talent. Shows the changes in management for the better. A little validation never hurt anyone. I am happy for her. https://t.co/nPaLgcop3G
