It turns out that the story of Hangman Page rejecting a WWE contract offer isn’t as clear as it was initially thought to be. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required) clarified the initial report, and that while Page did pass on the WWE contract for now, he didn’t exactly say no to it either.
Page reportedly told the WWE that he needs more time to answer. Dave Meltzer expects him to decide after the year ends. Many members of the Bullet Club, including Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, have their contracts all ending around the same time early next year, and they’ve stated that they’ll make a decision together. Whether or not that is how it exactly plays out, remains to be seen.
