Kofi Kingston & CM Punk Interact Over Kofi’s Tag Team Title Achievement
It was announced earlier today that WWE superstar Kofi Kingston reached an interesting landmark in WWE, becoming the wrestler with the most collective days as a Tag Team Champion. Kofi recognised the ‘strange’ achievement on social media, which included a subtle nod to all of his tag partners including CM Punk – who actually responded.
The two made a great team during their time with WWE, and as well as that, they also had a great friendship which we’ve seen play out in various clips and documentaries. This may not seem noteworthy to some but following the reports of Punk ‘blowing up bridges’ with a lot of folks in the company, it’s nice to see that he and Kofi are still good pals.
