One of the most incredible moments of WrestleMania 33 was when John Cena surprisingly proposed to his mixed tag partner Nikki Bella after the match, but it looks like this storybook romance isn’t meant to be. The couple publicly separated earlier this year, and while some fans have been hopeful that a reunion is in the works, it doesn’t look to be that way.
Nikki Bella attended the iHeart Music Festival where ET caught up with the superstar. When asked about her former beau, she revealed that they aren’t talking anymore. “He’s doing him and I’m doing me,” Nikki told the outlet.
While it’s always sad to see a relationship end, sometimes it’s best for all parties to just move on.
