According to an article by the New York Post, a judge in Connecticut has thrown out a lawsuit that included 60 former WWE superstars attempting to see the promotion claiming failure to protect the individuals from head trauma. Judge Vanessa Bryant made the decision to throw out the lawsuit siding that many of the claims were frivolous or filed after the statue limitations expired. The representative of the ex Superstars was also reprimanded by the judge for repeatedly failing to comply with court rules and has since been ordered to pay WWE’s legal fees. This is certainly not the first lawsuit of this kind to be filed against the sports entertainment conglomerate and will likely not be the last, but in this particular instance, the law was on their side.
