Before they were The Bar, Sheamus & Cesaro were an unlikely pairing of two tough superstars who were essentially forced to team with each other. As they were supposed to get a title opportunity in a feud with each other, then-RAW GM Mick Foley announced that they would get a tag team title opportunity against The New Day
They would gel surprisingly well as a team and had a very fun feud with The New Day in the final months of their record-breaking tag title run. On December 2016 at Roadblock: End Of The Line, they would beat The New Day to end the longest tag team title run in WWE history.
