The storyline with The Authority saw Bryan shoot himself into major superstardom and eventually climb the top of the WWE mountain. The Authority had been a huge roadblock for Bryan, costing him time after time in his pursuit of the WWE Championship. It was here that they referred to him as a “B+ player” and not the type that WWE saw as a top star.
The story would cause a reaction in fans, with them rallying behind Bryan even more. During this story he became the single hottest star in pro-wrestling and after much protest from the fans, he would face Triple H at WrestleMania, defeating him and going on to the main event, where he won and had one of the greatest, most emotional moments in WWE history.
