#2.) The Miz
The Miz was the one who technically introduced Daniel Bryan to the WWE Universe, as he was his mentor in the first season of NXT (back when it was a game show). He would mistreat his rookie constantly and much after NXT was finished, Bryan would feud with The Miz, capturing the United States Championship in the process.
Their feud would heat up years later after Bryan was forced to retire from in-ring competition. As General Manager of SmackDown Live, he took a verbal jab at The Miz on an episode of Talking Smack, calling him and his style of wrestling cowardly. The Miz would go on a tirade, lashing out on Bryan for calling him a coward.
He verbally obliterated Bryan and this instantly peaked interest in a possible feud between them if Bryan were to return. The two constantly teased a feud but nothing came to pass as Bryan wasn’t allowed to get physical.
Thankfully, Bryan did get medically cleared in early 2018 and would feud with The Miz during the summer of that year.
