#1.) Mick Foley falls off the cell…twice!
When we said that the Hell In A Cell can make or break careers, it happened to be both for Mick Foley. In the iconic King Of The Ring 1998 Hell In A Cell match, The Undertaker took on Mankind in one of the biggest spectacles in WWE history. The first spot saw Mankind fall off the top of the cell onto the announce table.
The second and most famous spot saw Undertaker chokeslam Mankind on top of the cell, only for him to go right through the cell and crashing down through the ring. Undertaker legitimately thought that he had ended Foley’s life. Jim Ross’ passionate call of the match made it even more special and it became a career-defining moment for both men. Luckily, Foley had survived but his body would suffer long-lasting effects from the fall. It wasn’t the end of his career, however, as Foley still had a few more years of hardcore left in him. Is it any wonder that the moment is constantly in WWE’s highlight reel?
