It was the first ever Hell In A Cell match at Badd Blood 1997 and Shawn Michaels took on The Undertaker to determine the number one contender for the WWE Championship.
They would have what many consider the greatest Hell In A Cell match to date, setting a whole new bar that hasn’t really been topped. But the most iconic moment of the match was the debut of The Big Red Machine – Kane.
For a while, Paul Bearer had teased unleashing Kane upon the world and the masked, long-haired giant in red ripped open the door of the cell and assaulted The Undertaker, making it the greatest debut in WWE history.
